How did Calvinism start because of pre-destination?

I.  Calvinism
A. Protestants began to form different religions because they had different beliefs than the Catholic Church
B.  Leaders of the new churches only made changes to the things they disagreed with
1. Luther made people read the Bible more because he thought it was important.
C. Calvin created PREDESTINATION
1. Calvin did not think heaven was a reward for doing good things
(Remember this was a big reason why people listened to the Church; especially during the Dark Ages!)
2. Calvin believed god already selected people who will go to heaven or hell
3. People who were going to heaven acted good because god made them act that way because they were saved.
4. People who were going to hell acted poorly because god made them act that way because they were dammed
