Our FINAL HISTORIAN PROJECT!

 Final Project

There are three possible ways to present your final project:

Way #1 - 2 minute LIVE speech on google meet with CAMERA and MICROPHONE on

Way #2 - 2 minute RECOREDED speech on FLIPGRID with CAMERA and MICROPHONE on

Way #3 - a JAMBOARD following the guidelines below


Speech Guidelines:

-2 minutes means 2 minutes (cut off if longer; radio silence if shorter)

-Introduce yourself Good Day, My name is __________ and I am in the _____social studies class.

-Introduce text and its main idea.  The text I selected to declaim is _____________.  The main idea of this text is ____________________.  This text is important because_____________________.

-Introduce the line of text you selected.  The line of text that I am declaiming is _____________________.

-Discuss why you selected this line of the text.  I selected this line because ___________________

-Discuss how you are related to this text.  This text connects to me because ___________________


The above are suggested stems.  They are great place to start.  You might have to add more to make your speech meet the two minute requirement.


Jamboard Directions

-Follow all of the prompts above.  Make sure for each prompt/sentence starter YOUR RESPONSE IS AT LEAST TWO SENTENCES.  A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period.

-Find an image that can be associated with the line of text you selected.  It can be related to the historical circumstances in the line/text.  Or, it can be related to emotions and issues that you bring up in your declamation.  Write a two sentence caption for the image.  Make sure you caption has two sentences.  A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period.

-Due Thursday June 10 (FLIP GRID and JAMBOARD)

-LIVE presentations - Friday June 11

-Monday (6/7) - Commitment Form: How are you presenting your project (WAY 1, 2, or 3)?

-LIVE presentations will happen in class.

-FLIPGRID and JAMBOARD will be submitted on google classroom through an assignment.
